Please join us in beautiful Bend, Oregon for the 2023 fall OSPA conference. Conference session topics include bilingual evaluation, collaborative ASD evaluation, leadership in school psychology, collaborative behavior support, cognitive assessment and more. Keynote address by 2023-24 NASP President, Andrea Clyne.

Thursday registration begins at 12:00 noon, sessions will include:

  • Welcome by OSPA President, Mary Sperling, 1:30 - 2:00 p.m.

  • Keynote by NASP President, Andrea Clyne, 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.

  • What Makes the DAS-II NU Unique? presented by Kathleen Woodward, Ed.S., NCSP & Theo Miron, Psy.S., Pearson Assessments, Breakout session, 3:30 - 5:00 p.m.

  • School Psychologists as Leaders in Behavior Support: Collaborating with Colleagues to Reach the "Toughest" Kids presented by Leah Benazzi, PhD, NCSP, Janice Fong, & Maria Iakovidis, University of Oregon, Breakout session, 3:30 - 5:00 p.m.

Friday registration begins at 7:30 a.m., sessions will include:

Saturday registration begins at 7:30 a.m., sessions will include:

  • School Based TBI/Concussion Management Teams presented by Melaney Grenz, M.S., CCC-SLP, Center on Brain Injury and Training, University of Oregon, Breakout session, 8:30 - 10:00 a.m.

  • Best Practice for Creating Meaningful Inclusion Experiences for All Students presented by Venus Reeve, M.S.Ed. & Sandra Walk, Ed.S., Breakout session, 8:30 - 10:00 a.m.

  • Advocacy 101 presented by Danielle N. Pappas, PhD, NCSP, Plenary session, 10:30 - 12:00 p.m.

Please note that food will not be provided as part of the conference this year. An extra long lunch break on Friday has been provided to accommodate. 


CALL FOR PRESENTERS!

The Oregon School Psychologist’s Association is seeking presenters for it’s 2024 annual fall conference “Strengthening Minds, Building Resilience” All presentations should align with OSPA’s mission and vision, and NASP’s practice model domains of practice. All sessions are 1.5 hours unless previously determined to be 3 hours.

A 100-word description of your proposed session

If you have a preferred date and time for your presentation (between Thursday morning and Friday afternoon)

An itemized list of potential travel expenses to determine stipend

8 presenters will receive $500 stipends
8 presenters will receive $250 stipends
All presenters receive conference attendance on the day they are

presenting
